I’m still taking 17 hours in the fall, the classes have just changed a little. RF had told me to drop my first semester because I had failed a class. That would obviously increase my overall GPA but I would have to retake those other 3 classes. I decided to do it, but then I talked to Dr. S. He told me not to do it. He said overall GPA doesn’t matter when applying for grad school. They are looking at what you have done recently.
I have a 3.67 in my classes I have taken since returning (33 hours) and they only look at the last 60 hours. With 29 hours remaining that means the old ones won’t even figure in. I swear RF is just there to make the university more money.
So now I am taking 6 hours of history which include Comparative revolutions with Dr. S and Modern France (with a professor that I have been told is very tan and is in love with himself). 6 hours of psychology -Social Psyc and Gender Psyc and finally 5 hours of French.
I’ve tallied up my book count for the 5 classes (6 if you count the French lab) and it’s… 21 books! Social Psych doesn’t actually have a book (thank you Dr. Knee). Luckily for comp rev I already have 2 of the books and one is available in Kindle form. I’ve actually already downloaded that one. I don’t even want to think about how much money that will be.
