Maggie, the dog we adopted almost 2 years ago does not do well with storms. She is on Prozac because of her severe anxiety & we have to give her a Xanax “booster” if she gets bad. We were supposed to have a tropical storm come through here today which means freak out time for Smack-Smack (Maggie smacks her lips she she is nervous). I gave her Xanax last night before I went to bed and got up at 7 to dose her again.

I came back to bed at 7:30 and told hushbear that everyone ate and got medicine but wouldn’t go outside. Hushbear said ok and went back to sleep. I somehow managed to take Nyquil instead of my Robitussin DM and I was out until 10:30. When I got up, hushbear told me that he had fed & drugged the girls. Ahhhhhh! That means the Maggie got a double dose of Xanax today!

We barely got any rain at all & she has been stumbling around the house all day long!
I wonder if they accept dogs in rehab now?
