Sad, but not really

Today I completed my last class as an undergraduate. It was with a professor that I absolutely love; he is one of the best at UH. Dr. Curry’s class is one of those classes that you don’t want to miss. You learn so much from him. I feel very lucky to have taken two courses with him. His US history from 60 to 76 class almost made me change my mind about focusing on French history.

I’ve got plenty to keep me busy for the next week and 1/2, but it feels odd. I think not going to class several days a week is going to take some getting used to. Don’t get me wrong, I’m looking forward to it! It’s just strange and exciting to think that after all this time it’s finally ending!

I’m looking forward to reading for pleasure again, baking, having a clean house, and a lot less stress.

Isn’t it weird how fast things go by? It seems like you just went back and now you’re done.

I’m going to go compile my list of requested baked goods.

I know, in some ways it does seem like it’s gone quickly, but then I think about the fact that I started all of this in 97…

I wish I had finished earlier, but then I might not have taken anything with Dr. Stone and might not have found my focus again. I got my Phi Alpha Theta honor cords today btw.

Yay for getting your PAT cords!

Congrats on being (pretty much) done. I’m jealous.

I agree with your sentiments on Dr. Curry’s class and what you’re looking forward to in your free time (that’s pretty much what I’ve got planned until the summer semester starts!).
