Hell might have frozen over

I went in to see my adviser and he was lovely. Just happy, helpful, wonderful. He is my new favorite person. He checked my hours and said I am all systems go for graduating in May! He actually said that I can probably apply now because fall applications are finished. I figure I will just wait until after I add classes on the 12th.

I have a good schedule next semester:

  • French Revolution historiography capstone (with Dr. S) Wednesday 1-4
  • US 1945-1960 Tu/Th 1-2:30
  • French lecture Tu/Th 10-12
  • French lab Th 12-1

I hope this will give me extra time because I have been running my ass off this semester. I feel like I haven’t stopped going since it started.

RF did point out that the French class is 5 hours which puts me at 11 hours for the semester when I only need 9 more to graduate. I would take something else that’s just 3, but I don’t see anything that I want to take (and Dr. S said I should take French).

This week has been total hell and I am so glad it is almost over. Over the past week I have taken 3 exams, 1 quiz and turned in an 11 page paper. Everything wound up falling around the same time.

PICGirl asked me to work Wednesdays this month and I told her I probably could. It’s just for an hour & 1/2 which wouldn’t be worth going in for if I didn’t live down the street. Let’s see how many people can annoy me in 1.5 hours!

I got some more good news yesterday, but I’ll save it for another post.
